We are an independent British company based in the North West of the UK, specialising in access products and solutions. Since the mid-1970’s we have developed and supplied safe and simple quality access products, with our award-winning Pop Up lifts, our MI TOWER range of access solutions that include the award-winning MI TOWER and our traditional EIGERTOWER aluminium tower range.

We are, and will continue to be, an innovative, market-leading solution, challenging the industry to evolve and supply an ever-improving offering to anybody looking to work safely at height. We work tirelessly to develop and deliver world class access products.

As part of our growth and succession plans, we are now looking to appoint a BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & ACCOUNT MANAGER who has the potential to become part of the Pop Up Products leadership team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for seeking out and developing new business and managing existing accounts. You should be commercially astute and have excellent communication skills, with a proven record in business development and account management.

The ideal fit, is a candidate who is ambitious, keen to have genuine influence and willing to work as part of a small team – you will be helping to shape the growth and future direction of the business.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Generating leads and efficiently keeping in regular contact with existing prospects
  • Managing existing customer accounts
  • Presenting to senior decision makers within our sector
  • Understanding and keeping up-to-date with constant developments in the access industry
  • Identifying areas for expansion and development
  • Developing a targeted long-term new business and business retention strategy
  • Creating and managing budgets and forecasts for the business
  • Delivering against these budgets and forecasts to ensure revenue expectations are met
  • Working closely with the Pop Up Products team to develop bespoke campaigns to relevant market sectors
  • Developing sales and marketing plans to position Pop Up Products as the access business of choice
  • Maximising networking opportunities and regularly using conferences, events etc to increase awareness and develop a further network of contacts

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 - 5 years’ experience within Business Development, New Business or Account Management
  • Self-starter who is ambitious and self-motivated
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Consultative sales skills
  • Thrive on working as part of a small motivated team
  • Experience working in a construction or engineering environment and understanding of (and passion for) the industry.
  • You will be determined, outgoing, positive, articulate, diplomatic and ambitious
