Two trade associations have joined forces to support a new All Party Parliamentary Group undertaking an inquiry into the numbers of serious injuries and fatalities which occur as a result of a fall from height.
It is being supported by PASMA, the Prefabricated Access Suppliers’ and Manufacturers’ Association, and the Access Industry Forum.
The inquiry is seeking submissions from across all industries and the health and safety sector. It also hopes to hold live evidence sessions in spring 2018. After considering the evidence, the APPG will develop a report and recommendations on how the frequency of serious injuries and fatalities can be reduced.
