The challenge for any business is to move and adapt to changing times. Never has this been more applicable than the past two years, when the Covid-19 pandemic has forced us all to find new ways of living and working.
At Pop-up Products, we’ve had to be creative and respond not only to our customers’ needs but to the government’s social distancing guidelines. Thankfully, our range of products has allowed us to accommodate the changing marketplace.
Our MI Tower ranges, DeltaDeck and IQ Pro machines have all shown strong growth over the past two years. We saw a 7% increase in MI Tower sales from 2019 to 2020 and then a huge 69% spike in 2021. The fact that this range can be easily transported, built and used by one person has contributed to their growth in popularity during the pandemic.
Along similar lines, DeltaDeck’s 66% jump from 2019 to 2020 was followed by a further 31% increase. Again, the portability and ease of use has been a key driver in its growth.
The sales for the IQ PRO10 are a good example of a machine that was hit hard initially by Covid – with a 50% drop in sales – but it demonstrated its bouncebackability with 112% growth back on the product.
After the last two years, it would be foolish to indulge in too much crystal-ball gazing for 2022, but it will be interesting to see how the market reacts to the upcoming EN1004 changes – in particular the impact it may have on our EIGER500 or EIGER250 standard tower (or, as the market like to call it, the ‘Ladderspan Tower’).
Here’s to another constructive year!
