Innovative access equipment developer, POP UP Products, has appointed graduate Dan Meehan as its new product management co-ordinator.
Dan, 23, will be working closely with POP UP Product’s design director to hit deadlines and manage products.
Dan was awarded a first class degree from the University of Chester in product design. He said he was particularly attracted to the job at POP UP Products as it made full use of his degree.
“At university I developed an understanding of how a product is designed, developed, manufactured and the process every product takes to go from concept to reality.
“That knowledge and understanding is being put to full use in my role at POP UP Products which is really rewarding,” said Dan.
He is also enjoying working with POP UP Product’s close-knit team of specialists.
“Everyone knows each other and it’s easy to work together and communicate,” he said.
Outside of work Dan spends his free time watching football and keeping active by going to the gym and playing sports.
POP UP Products is based in Deeside and since the 1970s has established a reputation for its safe and simple quality access products for the construction industry. Its range includes the award winning POP UP lift and MI Tower.
