The PRO IQ machine conforms to the European Standard for Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWP) which is BS EN 280:2013+A1:2015

BS EN 1004 tower structures can be used as a free-standing structure, complete with stabilisers up to a platform height (PH) of 8.2m. After this height, the structure will require tying into a solid structure. For information on tying in fastenings please refer to Hilti.
The outer dimensions of the MI TOWER are:
Length – 1.32m Width – 0.78m Trolley Height – 1.6m
Stabiliser footprint – 2.7m (l) x 2.4m (w)

Length – 1.65m Width – 0.78m Trolley Height – 1.77m
Stabiliser footprint – 3.9m (l) x 3.1m (w)
Under the Lifting Operations, Equipment Regulations (LOLER), and the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER), the PRO IQ machine needs to be inspected on a 6-monthly basis.
This Thorough Examination should be carried out by a ‘competent’ person: this could be a person who is an International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) or Competent Assessed Person (CAP). Servicing of the machine can be carried out on an annual basis.
The EIGER and MI TOWER ranges require users to have completed a PASMA course and hold a valid PASMA card.
Domestic users of the EIGER and MI TOWER ranges do not require formal training but must read and fully understand the instructions before attempting to build the tower.
The PRO IQ LIFT range of products requires users to have completed either an IPAF Push Around Vertical (PAV) or Mobile Vertical (3a, 3a+) course and hold a valid PAL card.
